Help the next generation fall in love with Jesus.

Celebration Church is a group of ordinary people from different generations, denominations and cultural backgrounds, united around one goal: to behold Jesus and become more like Him. We encounter Him through the Holy Spirit, Scripture and the Sacraments, and we are looking for a Children’s Pastor to lead Kingdom Kids, our ministry to children from birth to Grade 5 and their families.

What you’ll do

• Set the vision for our Children’s Ministry and lead creative, biblically rooted Sunday encounters.

• Recruit, equip and encourage a team of volunteers to serve our children.

• Partner with parents to help children grow in faith at home.

• Keep children safe through our check-in procedures and Protection Plan.

• Lead family and community events, including cross-generational Family Sundays.

• Raise up Kingdom Kids alongside the Lead Pastor and a collaborative staff team.

What we’re looking for

• An active, growing relationship with Jesus, and a passion for ministry to children and families.

• A degree in child, youth and/or family ministry (or similar), plus experience leading children’s or youth programs.

• A proven ability to recruit, equip and inspire volunteers.

• Excellent communication skills, creativity, and a self-directed, humble, teachable spirit.

• Agreement with our Statement of Belief (www.redroof.tv/about/believe), a successful vulnerable

sector police check and willingness to sign our Code of Conduct and our Covenant of Honour.

Be the welcome, and the steady hands, behind a thriving church.

Celebration Church is a group of ordinary people from different generations, denominations and cultural backgrounds, united around one goal: to behold Jesus and become more like Him. We are looking for an Office Manager to be the first face of our church and to keep its operations, records and finances running well.

What you’ll do

• Welcome everyone who calls, emails or visits, and connect them with the right person.

• Run the church office: supplies, mail, contracts, membership records and building rentals.

• Receive and deposit gifts, pay bills and staff, and produce monthly financial reports for the Board.

• Support payroll, benefits administration and year-end requirements.

• Keep us in good standing with CRA, auditor and provincial registry, including our charitable status.

• Track police record checks, corporate records and key deadlines.

• Help with our AGM and Budget Meetings.

What we’re looking for

• An active faith and a heart to serve the church through administration.

• Office administration or operations experience, and strong organization and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated financial acumen, donor management, and non-profit financial reporting.

• Comfort with numbers and accounting software, and a willingness to learn Sage.

• Warmth, discretion and sound judgment with people and confidential information.

• Agreement with our Statement of Belief, and willingness to sign our code of conduct and complete a vulnerable sector police check.

• Bonus: bookkeeping, accounting or payroll experience; Canadian charity or non-profit experience; Planning Center experience.

About the finance side

This role carries real financial responsibility. If you have bookkeeping or payroll experience, great. If your strength is administration and your finance experience is lighter, please still apply: we may engage outside professionals for some specialized accounting and payroll work, and we will train and support you. The final scope of the role will be confirmed with the successful candidate.
